Our Energy Initiative team is made up of staff from Natural Capital Investment Fund and The Conservation Fund, as well as third-party consultants with expertise in energy engineering and project development. NCIF’s Project Manager and one or more of these folks might help you.

NCIF is affiliated with The Conservation Fund; both are nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations.

Hannah Vargason manages NCIF’s Energy Initiative. She coordinates with a regional network of service providers and capital and funding sources to promote sustainable economic development in Appalachia. Hannah has a background in applied economics and sustainability. Hannah is based in Shepherdstown, WV.

Scott Tsukuda manages operations for TCF’s Freshwater Institute, including research on energy monitoring. Scott is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and holds a Master’s of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University. Scott is based in Shepherdstown, WV.

Midwest Clean Energy Enterprise (MCEE) has expertise in a wide spectrum of energy-saving opportunities, ranging from demand-side management, to centralized and decentralized generation & transmission, to renewable energy generation. MCEE is headquartered in Frankfort, KY.

Bobby Clark is MCEE’s Director of Business Development. Bobby has 25 years experience in entrepreneurship and expertise in sustainability and social enterprise. He provides client management, networking and grant-writing services.

Jason Delambre is MCEE’s Director of Energy and Carbon Policy. Jason is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Building Analyst (BPI). He provides energy auditing, planning and supply chain development services.

Edye Raymond is President of S2E2 Consulting, offering sustainable solutions in both the environmental and energy fields. Edye is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with 18 years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, system management and energy efficiency. Edye is based in Louisville, KY.

Josh Ludgate is President of Exact Energy, Inc., offering energy audits and consultation to commercial, industrial and all agricultural enterprises, as well as farm planning. Josh is a Professional Energy Manager (PEM) and a Certified Technical Service Provider (TSP) for USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Josh is based in Farmville, VA.
